The information and Services provided by The Proposal Experience are intended to help clients plan and prepare for a marriage proposal.
The Proposal Experience provides proposal consulting, guidance, education, ideas, recommendations, and planning support. We do not guarantee the outcome of a proposal or the performance of any third-party business.
1. NO GUARANTEE OF A “YES”
A marriage proposal involves another person's independent thoughts, feelings, circumstances, and decision.
No proposal consultant, planner, photographer, venue, or other service provider can guarantee that a proposal will result in a “yes,” engagement, or any particular outcome.
The Proposal Experience does not make such a guarantee.
Our role is to help you create a thoughtful and personalized proposal plan.
2. GUIDANCE, NOT EXECUTION
Unless expressly agreed to in writing, The Proposal Experience does not physically execute or supervise your proposal.
We do not automatically:
* Set up proposal décor
* Coordinate vendors on-site
* Photograph or film the proposal
* Obtain permits
* Book venues
* Make reservations
* Provide transportation
* Purchase products
* Manage guests
* Provide day-of coordination
* Travel to the proposal location
Clients are responsible for implementing recommendations and confirming arrangements with the relevant vendors, venues, and service providers.
3. RECOMMENDATIONS
We may provide recommendations regarding:
* Proposal locations
* Restaurants
* Hotels
* Photographers
* Florists
* Decorators
* Transportation
* Jewelry or engagement rings
* Travel
* Experiences
* Other proposal-related products or services
These recommendations are based on information available to us at the time.
Availability, pricing, policies, quality, restrictions, and services offered by third parties may change.
Clients should independently confirm important details before making a purchase or commitment.
4. THIRD-PARTY VENDORS
The Proposal Experience does not control third-party vendors unless expressly stated otherwise.
A recommendation does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, warranty, partnership, or representation that the vendor will meet your expectations.
When you book a third-party provider, you enter into a separate agreement with that provider.
The provider is responsible for its own:
* Pricing
* Contracts
* Services
* Insurance
* Permits
* Cancellation policies
* Availability
* Safety procedures
* Staff
* Products
* Performance
Any dispute regarding a third-party service should generally be directed to that provider.
5. ENGAGEMENT RINGS AND JEWELRY
The Proposal Experience may provide general education or guidance relating to engagement rings, diamonds, jewelry, purchasing considerations, or questions to ask a jeweler.
This information is intended for educational and planning purposes.
We are not a jeweler, gemologist, financial advisor, appraiser, or legal advisor unless expressly stated otherwise.
You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before purchasing an engagement ring or other jewelry.
We do not guarantee the quality, authenticity, value, grading, pricing, return policy, warranty, or suitability of any jewelry or diamond purchased from a third party.
6. TRAVEL AND DESTINATION PROPOSALS
If we provide recommendations relating to travel or destination proposals, those recommendations are for planning purposes only.
Travel requirements, immigration rules, passport requirements, airline schedules, weather, hotel policies, transportation, venue restrictions, and other travel conditions can change.
You are responsible for verifying current travel requirements and making appropriate reservations.
The Proposal Experience is not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, lost luggage, denied boarding, weather events, border restrictions, or other travel-related circumstances outside our control.
7. VENUES, PERMITS, AND LOCAL RULES
Venue policies, permit requirements, photography restrictions, closing times, guest limits, décor rules, and other local requirements may change.
Clients are responsible for confirming applicable requirements with the venue, municipality, property owner, or other relevant authority before the proposal.
A recommendation from The Proposal Experience does not constitute legal, municipal, venue, or permit approval.
8. WEATHER AND UNEXPECTED EVENTS
Outdoor proposals and destination experiences may be affected by:
* Rain
* Wind
* Heat
* Storms
* Hurricanes
* Flooding
* Traffic
* Construction
* Crowds
* Venue closures
* Public events
* Travel disruptions
* Other unexpected circumstances
The Proposal Experience can help clients think through contingency plans, but cannot control these conditions or guarantee that a backup plan will be available.
